Pre- Insulated panels made of an insulating component with alternative new generation blowing agents that eliminates the use of CFC, HCFC & HFC in rigid PIR foam with facings of Aluminum Foil of 80 micron on both side.

UTILISATION:

Pre-Insulated air duct system specially designed to be used in Hotels, Malls, Offices, Residential buildings, Supermarkets, Theaters, Airports, Industries, healthcare facilities, food processing industries, schools, pharmaceutical factories, and clean rooms.

APPLICATIONS:

HVAC ducting, Fall ceiling, Under-Deck, Over-Deck, Cavity Wall insulation

INSULATING MATERIAL CHARACTERISTICS

The PUR / PIR foam that makes up the core of the panel is the result of a chemical reaction between specifically formulated, high-quality fire-retardant polyols and isocyanates. The resultant insulating material is environmentally friendly & free of CFC, HCFC & HFC.

THERMAL INSULATION

Due to the high percentage of closed cells, exceeding 95%, the foam of the PIR panel has a thermal conductivity A of 0,021 W/ (m °K) and meets the requirement of BS 5422: 2009
Pre-insulated duct systems meet the requirement of EN13403. Water vapor permeance 0.00 perms as per ASTM E96.

PANEL CHARACTERISTICS

Utilization Temperature
Pre-Insulated Duct can be used in a temperature range from -30°C to +65°C in continuous operation.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is a PIR duct?

PIR Duct is a pre-insulated HVAC duct system made from rigid polyisocyanurate foam panels covered with aluminum foil. It is used to distribute conditioned air efficiently while providing built-in thermal insulation.

2. What are PIR ducts used for?

PIR ducts are used in HVAC systems to transport cooled or heated air in commercial buildings, hospitals, airports, offices, shopping malls, and industrial facilities.

3. What are the benefits of PIR duct insulation?

PIR duct insulation offers high thermal efficiency, lightweight construction, corrosion resistance, easy installation, and improved energy savings in HVAC systems.

4. How do PIR ducts improve energy efficiency?

PIR ducts reduce thermal loss because the insulation layer is integrated into the duct panel. This helps maintain air temperature and reduces energy consumption in heating and cooling systems.

5. What is the difference between PIR ducts and traditional metal ducts?

PIR ducts combine air distribution and insulation in one system, while traditional metal ducts require separate insulation materials. This makes PIR ducts lighter, faster to install, and more energy efficient.

6. Are PIR ducts suitable for commercial HVAC systems?

Yes, PIR ducts are widely used in commercial HVAC systems due to their strong insulation performance, durability, and ability to maintain consistent airflow.

7. Do PIR ducts prevent condensation?

Yes, the insulated structure of PIR duct panels helps maintain surface temperature, which reduces the risk of condensation forming on the ducts.

8. How long do PIR duct systems last?

PIR duct systems are durable and can last for many years when properly installed and maintained in HVAC applications.

9. Are PIR ducts lightweight compared to metal ducts?

Yes, PIR ducts are significantly lighter than traditional galvanized steel ducts, making transportation, handling, and installation easier.

10. Why choose Pararth Product PIR ducts?

Pararth PIR ducts provide reliable thermal insulation, improved HVAC efficiency, and easy installation, making them a practical solution for modern air distribution systems.
